24 members of our branch had a fantastic day out. They enjoyed a wonderful 2-hour Cream Tea Cruise on the Chichester Ship Canal aboard the 32-seater Richmond. The cruise was ably crewed by Keith and Mark.
We savoured uninterrupted views of the countryside, Cathedral, and South Downs. Of course, we couldn’t miss the local scone, jam, and clotted cream, served with a choice of tea or coffee.
As we glided past the wildflowers and reed beds, we were captivated by the reflections in the water and the unique views of the cathedral and South Downs. We even spotted wild birds and other animals in their natural habitat.
It was a truly memorable day, and everyone had a great time.
